”The price of being yourself is other peoples angst about being yourself”- Woopi Goldberg
Hey sassy Taco it’s me graysbygrace your very own rainbow and okay we are blogging early! Well, there are many reasons why I am posting today. One reason is the municipalty is planning to switch off the lights for conservation reasons idk..The other is reason is because I need to prepare for my tests and so I really want to post today.
Today’s topic is ”Being yourself or Be you, Be werid Yes!”
I always talk about this and I believe we live in a double standard world! People like you yet they can hate you. Humans can’t make up the mind and you as the person who is unique does not need to suffer. You just got to stand tall and walk like your the next top model. ( Dear 25 year old me)
The fact that I have seen people’s mistake and they have advice me to be a better person I have learned really who I am. I have been exposed to many cultures and I am one lucky person to travel around. I learned different types of norms and even learned what people think about the continent Africa. Sometimes I feel people mistaken my accent and say I act ”white” also the music I listen to but don’t get me mistaken. This is who I am I can’t change this and if you don’t like it, walk away. It is easy as it sounds. This is a very good example and as long as I have my morals, culture, background and my name I am fine. You know what? I hate having items that other people have. I love being asked..oh where did you get that? Just being like others is so boring. Imagine a world full of people who follow each other and do the same routine ( oh snap, that is a movie idea) . OH, my goodness that would be so boring! I believe if you plan to follow somebody, think about it and you will realize you are better of you.
The first time I began with thinking about starting a Youtube channel I was inspired. I wanted to do things that I knew I could not do because they looked fun. That is why in some many occasions I stopped and deleted videos. I slowly realized that is not what I wanted to do but something else. As I go on now I love what I do and I hope I really get an awesome audience. This is me, I don’t speak a lot but have this mind full of crazy ideas! Yes, I have received comments such as you will not make it as a Youtuber because people don’t like this or that but passion is more important then what people think. That is one thing I learned through this adventure.. hey look at my Blog! In the beginning it was a portfolio which I did for a grade 10 project and then it grew to be a Blog which got an award at school for. Today, it is this wonderful area where I write what I love and I don’t care what people think because this is what I love writing about! RANDOM STUFF AND LOTS OF ART!!
